Why These Countries Are Shown
His Purpose Ministries highlights countries and ministry areas where God has opened doors for relationship, service, and collaboration. The countries shown reflect places where Carlos and Mirka del Amo, HPM, or trusted ministry partners are connected through service, prayer, or support. Carlos serves as President of His Purpose Ministries, Vice Chairman of Alfalit International, and a board member of His Children International. Our desire is not to promote ourselves, but to point to what God is doing through His people. We are grateful for every open door, every faithful partner, and every opportunity to help make the love of Jesus visible to people in need.
General Program Statement
His Purpose Ministries’ programs are the practical expression of our Christ-centered mission. Through church-centered partnerships, compassionate service, and trusted collaboration, we seek to bring spiritual hope, discipleship, encouragement, food, medicine, leadership support, and practical care to vulnerable and under-resourced communities.
We believe that every act of service should point back to Jesus Christ, who is the true and lasting hope for every person. For that reason, evangelism, discipleship, spiritual formation, and biblical encouragement remain at the heart of our work. We do not simply want to meet immediate needs; we want to help people encounter the love of Christ and grow in Him.
HPM works alongside churches, pastors, service providers, ministry leaders, community partners, and trusted local servants to build stronger pathways of care. These partnerships help reduce isolation, strengthen ministries, encourage collaboration, and connect people in need with faithful sources of help and support.
We also believe that strong leaders strengthen churches, ministries, families, and communities. Through leadership training, capacity building, and strategic support, HPM seeks to help local leaders and ministries become stronger, healthier, and better equipped for lasting impact.
Our programs are not built around our name, but around His purpose. We serve with humility, dependence on God, and a desire that every partnership, every resource, and every life touched would honor Jesus Christ and make His love visible.

Alfalit International
Adult Literacy – Equivalent to a 3rd grade education, upon completion students have a 1,471-word vocabulary. They can read, write and complete basic math computations. Completion time: about 9 months.
Adult Basic Education – Available to students completing Literacy training. It provides the equivalent of a sixth grade education and encourages formal study. In many countries, thanks to alliances with the Ministries of Education, this certification is recognized and allows labor inclusion, reinforcing the self-confidence of our students.
Job & Vocational Training – Earning an income helps individuals, families and communities. This program provides skill-based training to adults who would otherwise be unemployable in the poor countries served by Alfalit.
Early Childhood Education – Our tiniest students learn basic skills like counting, colors and words. Students are better prepared to enter elementary schools and typically do better than their non-early educated counterparts.
Conversational English – Adult, non-English speakers gain the ability to use English with self-assurance in basic, everyday situations. In the United States, this helps our non-native residents become a part of the community in a quicker manner and contribute more to society as a whole.
