Miguel's Biography

Miguel was born in Miami and has lived in South Florida for over fifty-three years. Of those years he invested 31 years working for Miami Dade County government, from part-time toll collector to construction manager, leading the maintenance and construction division of Miami Dade parks and recreation department.

While not at work, Miguel spent most of his time as a servant leader in different ministries, from an usher, student ministry, pastoral care, benevolence, decon and eventually becoming a full-time member of the Pastoral staff for Christ Fellowship.

He also served as the director of Spanish ministries, global missions, and associate pastor for the West Kendall campus. Today he serves as a member of the pastoral and leadership team for a new church plant in Miami called Christ In Us church.

Miguel’s greatest passion is sharing the gospel both locally and globally through outreach and missions. He also has a passion for serving the body of believers and the under-resourced in order to show God’s love in tangible ways.

Miguel’s greatest achievement has been to facilitate and lead the planting of new churches throughout Cuba and Latin America.

Miguel holds a bachelor’s degree from Trinity International University,  a general Engineer license from Miami Dade, and in 2019 was ordained as a minister of the gospel through Christ Fellowship Baptist Church.
